Big Ten Picks for the Day

Michigan State - The best team in the conference with the best coach in the conference. For the most part of the year, they have looked like world beaters. I believe there is only one team in this conference that can beat them in a win-or-go-home setting, and they have a tough matchup today against Illinois. Way too much for Oregon in this one. It would also be a 10 a.m. tip-off local time for them.

UCLA - This was a tough one, but we're going to go with UCLA because ever since the coach held the press conference and basically called out the whole roster, they have been playing some great basketball.

llinois - I think they are scoring way too much to lose right now. As of now, you have to go into the game thinking you need to score 100 to beat them, which isn’t a sustainable way to defeat anyone. If Maryland's bigs get going, it could be a tough night for Illinois, though. But I trust Brad to fix the mistakes from their first game.

Michigan - Purdue has not looked like a good team towards the back end of the season, even during most of last night when they squeaked out a win against USC. I think Michigan will lean on Wolf and get the win in this one.
