UC San Diego - They are the better team in this game, and I don’t think it’s close. However, Santa Barbara has made a great run through the conference tournament, currently making it this far to the semifinals out of the first-round game. But I think that San Diego scores way too much for them to keep up. Whichever of the two that don’t win the Big West, UC Irvine or San Diego, will be a great bet in whichever postseason tournament they get invited to.

UC Irvine - Cal Poly is also on a run as a 7 seed, but I think that comes to an end with a loss to UC Irvine. Cal Poly will have no answer for the 7-foot German center Leuchten, and they will run away with it.
